There definitely is (no) God!

Ok, this article could be endless – as it kind of deals with the oooooooooold question of “Is there a God?” Not only when they’re stoned or on mushrooms – people seem to discuss this matter since the invention of the idea that one man/woman/being is the creator of everything.

And as we know we can split mankind in two fronts – the Believers – and their counterparts the Atheists.

The latter ones recently started a very interesting ad campaign – visible to everyone on London’s red buses. It said “There’s probably no God. So stop worrying and enjoy your life.”

For any Believer this must have felt like getting hit in the face with a big old dusty book. The slogan launched by a group called Atheist Bus Campaign suggest that anyone believing in God is a pathetic saddo! A bold statement this group intends to go international with at the moment.

The ironic thing is that although the Bible says “If someone strikes you on the cheek, offer him the other one as well” (Luke 6:29) the Christian Party failed to do so – and gave in to the temptation to strike back!

And O’ Boy! Did they hit back!!! They have taken all their anger and grief about those blasphemic atheists and contered with…well… with an ad…on the red London busses!

And it stated in the very same style as the Atheist one: “There definitely is a God! So join the Christian Party! And enjoy your life!”

Wow – what a retaliation! With a slogan that presents you with the answer to all our many disputes and arguments. THERE IS GOD!!! DEFINITELY! and THAT’S why you HAVE to join the Christian Party!

At least I can cut my article short now. All questions answered! Thanks Christian Party!

Ad-ding Reality

When i saw this artwork in Digbeth Birmingham a while ago – i was thrilled – a massive poster-ad depicting just what’s behind! So clever! Almost as if turning the wall into a window!

I always hoped to see more of these – but it seemed the artist only ever did this one. Or does any one know more like these?

That’s what’s on the poster… (the green writing says: “Pointless” – not sure if it comes from the artist himself)

…and that’s what’s behind.

Multi-Cultural Pigeon Lovers

I just looked through my old photo files and found this photo i took a few years back in Birmingham. It really summed up the multi facetted ethnic mix of the city. 6 languages are needed to make sure that no one feeds those pigeons.

And the funny thing? The pavement was covered in bird food!

Dog leads Dog!

So, just after getting so angry and agitated in the article below – a funny photo – of some REALLY ODD things i photographed a while ago. These two “dogs” really were walking themselves!

There was no owner to be seen anywhere! A perfect example why you should always carry a camera with you! 🙂

Big Bother: ODD Photographer = Terrorist!?

This is a government ad i had on my door for a year now. It made me almost shiver in disgust of our make-fear society.  It came along with a radio ad campaign basically asking EVERYONE to spy on EVERYONE!!!

Very much reminded me of what the Nazis and the East German Government once did to their people – STASI anyone?

I think I was also hurt on a personal level by this ad, becaue it asks to report people who are ODD because they take some pictures of ODD things! So that’s ME then, right!?!?!

The government explains that anyone could be a terrorist! They asked that you should report anyone who looks or behaves “suspicious”. Even if you’re not sure – REPORT IT ANYWAY! The examples they gave where hilarious (or sad?) – f.e. you NEED to report anyone with TWO MOBILE phones – just because terrorists apparently use two mobiles!!!

I was once actually questioned by two undercover anti-terror cops – literally seconds after I took a photo with my mobile of a granny who was getting on a bus (with her trolley of course!) They approached me aggressively asking, why I dared taking a photo of a bus!?! They searched my phone (with a lot of ODD photos on) and my bag and put my details into a database. WTF?!?

I mean, of course there where attacks on buses on the evil 7/7 bomb blasts – but do these cops really think that these terrorists took a photo of a bus beforehand so that they would know how to bomb it!?!

The other day – i saw another add which shows the government is still playing the “rat on your neighbour” game.  I d really like to know if the public is buying into that. Are there really people reporting this kind of stuff?

Or another question: Do terrorists REALLY take photos of CCTV cameras!? And if so?! Why?! So that they know where is a good spot to blow up their bombs so the world can see it afterwards?!

Or does the government just want to make the public believe that terrorists are scared of CCTV – hence it is ok to plaster them all over the city to film every second of everyone’s life?

I mean if there is one thing that the 7/7 attacks have proven: Nobody with a bag full of explosives can be stopped by a camera!

This is the current ad seen on the tube the other day.

Taking a photo of a CCTV camera brands you as terror suspect! WTF?!

I want to DRUM my bicycle

I filmed this guy near Brick Lane. I love his idea: A mobile drum kit – transforms into a bicycle – or the other way round! And he’s not bad either – Faaaaast! Sounds sometimes like a machine gun! I m well impressed!
